Sales Emails People Actually Read
Ridhwik
This goal covers the emails that carry a live deal: the recap after a call, the recommendation summary, the message that asks for a decision. Your reader is busy, on a phone, and often forwarding your words to someone you have never met. You will practice subject lines that say what the message is about, recaps that survive being read cold, proposal summaries that fit on a screen, and closings with exactly one ask. Includes bad-news emails and the message you write for your champion to send as their own.

Your learning path
Skills you will learn
Designing Findable Subject Lines
Learners will master the mechanics of writing subject lines that describe the email body and remain findable weeks later. They will practice choosing specific nouns, putting critical words first, and knowing when to start new email threads.
Drafting Conversation Recaps
Learners will draft brief recap emails that capture the customer's needs in their own words and outline next steps. They will practice assigning owners and dates to every task and inviting correction to unearth hidden deal risks.
Recommending Solutions with Summaries
Learners will write concise recommendation summaries that stand on their own in the body of an email without relying on attachments. They will learn to explicitly state recommendations first, outline exclusions and trade-offs, and explain why other options were rejected.
Writing for the Second Reader
Learners will master writing emails that are safe and effective when forwarded to unseen decision-makers. They will practice drafting messages in their champion's voice to be sent upward, as well as addressing silent buyers in consumer deals.
Closing with One Request
Learners will learn to end emails with exactly one request that is easy to answer on a mobile screen, and deliver bad news cleanly. They will practice restructuring difficult updates by putting facts first and placing apologies after the facts.
How goals work
Four steps, one real shift.
