Your learning path
Skills you will learn
Opening with a clear goal
You will share details of an upcoming meeting from your own calendar with your coach. Together, you will write a script that states the final decision needed, the time limits, and the agenda.
Keeping it on track
You will meet with your mentor to plan how to handle common meeting distractions. Together, you will outline quick phrases to redirect off-topic chats, invite silent attendees to speak, and save extra ideas for later.
Getting to a decision
You will meet with your coach to plan how you will guide your next meeting toward a clear conclusion. You will share an upcoming decision your team needs to make and practice mapping out the options and potential roadblocks.
Handling a difficult attendee
You will meet your coach to learn how to identify overbearing behavior and personal attacks in a group setting. You will practice techniques to stay completely neutral while steering the conversation back to safety.
Closing with action points
You will meet with your coach to walk through how to wrap up a meeting effectively and on schedule. You will map out a quick structure for summarizing next steps and drafting a post-meeting note.
How goals work
Four steps, one real shift.
