They Said No. Now What?
Ridhwik
An objection is the customer telling you what stands between them and yes. This goal covers the ten seconds after you hear one: stay quiet long enough to get all of it, acknowledge it without agreeing, ask the one question that finds the real concern, answer that narrow thing with evidence, and check whether the answer landed. Includes the objection relayed from someone not in the room, and the partner who was not there.

Your learning path
Skills you will learn
Active Listening and Specific Acknowledgment
The learner practices pausing before responding to objections and writing down key details to prevent defensive reflexes. At the end of the session, they will be able to restate a customer's specific concern accurately enough to invite correction, rather than rushing to a generic rebuttal.
Diagnosing Behind the Obvious Concern
The learner applies open, diagnostic questions to uncover what sits behind common, vague objections. By the end of this session, the learner will be able to isolate the true constraints—such as budget timing, authority limits, or absent partners—rather than answering the surface level statement.
Delivering Concise Evidence and Real Constraints
The learner works on delivering focused, short answers backed by verifiable evidence or clear contractual commitments. By the end of this session, the learner will be able to present relevant customer stories or admit limitations honestly without resorting to overclaiming or generic reassurance.
Verifying True Resolution or Stopping
This session focuses on confirming whether a concern is truly resolved or if it persists as a hidden deal-killer. At the end of the session, the learner will be able to test soft yeses, engage silent room members, and cleanly walk away from unfixable constraints rather than carrying false hopes in their forecast.
Integrating the Complete Objection Handling Framework
The learner integrates active listening, diagnosing, focused answering, and resolution checking in a high-stakes customer simulation. By the end of this session, the learner will successfully navigate complex objections from start to finish without getting defensive or offering premature discounts.
